Meet the Team

Dr. Danny Sarubin graduated from the University of Maryland Dental School in 1994. He then completed a hospital residency and then Fellowship at the University of Mississippi Medical Center. Integrating medicine and dentistry is Dr. Danny’s passion.

It is his belief that too many dentists deliver “tooth” treatment to their patients without a full understanding of the patient as a whole. Often healthcare is focused on “the last domino to fall”. Rarely do Doctors today take the time to try to find out why situations occur, thus leading to an endless cycle of treatment and retreatment.

Dr. Danny enjoys comprehensive and complex treatment. He uses the latest technology to offer his patients the widest range of options and deliver the highest quality of care. His areas of particular interest are cosmetic dentistry, and placing and restoring dental implants. Dr. Danny has been helping to straighten teeth with Invisalign for 20 years and is a Gold Plus provider. He also enjoys treating people with sleep issues any/or sleep apnea, and TMJ disorders.

Hiking and Kayaking, and cheering on the Ravens are some of Dr. Danny’s favorite pastimes. He enjoys traveling, particularly to Charleston to see his two kids.

Dr Todd Sarubin graduated from the University of Maryland Dental School in 1985. He then completed a year long general practice residency program at Sinai Hospital of Baltimore.
Dr. Todd enjoys all forms dentistry. Specifically, Dr. Todd likes performing sedation dentistry, tooth replacement with implants, Invisalign, cosmetics, and the treatment of snoring and sleep apnea. Since the start of his career, the treatment of medically and intellectually challenged patients, both young and old has always been a passion and priority for Dr. Todd.

My name is Betsey and I am a registered dental hygienist. I’ve been with Sarubin Family Dental since 1990, obviously I love my job! The best part is building relationships with patients and providing them with continuing care for their individual needs. Having happy and healthy patients is very rewarding! Outside of the office, my husband and I love traveling, hiking and spending time with our daughter and two sons. We also have an adorable dog named Toby.

My name is Sam and I started with Sarubin Family Dental in 2020. I grew up in southern Maryland and graduated from the Dental Hygiene program at West Virginia University in 2017. Some of my favorite things about being a hygienist include getting to build relationships with my patients and helping fearful patients overcome their dental anxieties. Outside of the office, I enjoy spending time with my husband Grant and our pitbull, Lucy.

My name is LeAnn and I graduated from dental hygiene school in June of 2023. I’ve been working with Sarubin Family Dental ever since! Educating our patients about oral health and ensuring a comfortable and pleasant experience at each visit is important to me. Outside of the office, I enjoy spending time with my 2 daughters, and friends and family.

My name is Carren. I am a Dental Assistant here at Sarubin Family Dental. I have been with the practice since March of 2019, and I have been working in the dental field for over 4 years. I love being able to apply my knowledge and skills to the care of a patient. In my free time I enjoy being outdoors and spending time with my two kids, Matthew and Madelynn.
Fun Fact: You aren’t seeing double in the office, Carrie is my twin sister!

My name is Windy I have been a dental assistant at Sarubin Family Dental for over 30 years. What I love about my job is getting to interact and form relationships with our patients. I have two handsome sons and four grandchildren that I enjoy spending time with. Fun fact: I am a cat person with two beautiful cats, named Snowball and Chloe.

My name is Lena and I have been a Dental Assistant at Sarubin Family Dental for 15 years. It is my passion to make patients feel welcome and comfortable at the practice. In my free time, I enjoy reading and spending time with my loved ones!

My name is Brittany and I have been a Dental Assistant at Sarubin Family Dental for 2 years.

My name is Carrie, and I am a patient care coordinator at Sarubin Dental. In 2015, I joined the dental field and have been with Sarubin Dental since 2018. You can find me at the front desk where I can help you with your treatment plan and any of your scheduling needs. I am very passionate about helping patients with dental anxiety. One of my favorite things about my job is helping patients take back control of their oral health and build a relationship with their dentist. In my free time I enjoy playing board games, trying new restaurants, being outdoors, listening to music, and being with my husband and 2 year old, Levi!
Fun Fact: Dr. Danny’s dental assistant, Carren, is my twin!

My name is Tabitha, I am the Treatment Coordinator at Sarubin Family Dental. I have been with the Sarubin team since January of 2002. My goal is to help assist you with treatment goals and answer any questions you have. In my free time, I enjoy hiking and camping. Fun Fact: I was a wedding videographer for over 10 years!

My name is Wendy and I am a Patient Coordinator here at Sarubin Family Dental. I joined the team in October of 2018 after working in the medical field for 3 years. I enjoy meeting new people and helping them with their dental journey. When I am not helping patients, you can find me with my husband and two labs, Trooper and Medic.
Fun Fact: I was a ski instructor at Sugarloaf Mountain for over 10 years!
